Master Plan for Parking (739.39 KiB)
The BPA launched its annual Master Plan for Parking on July 6th 2011 at the President’s Reception. This is the second instalment of the Master Plan; a year’s worth of lobbying government has resulted in some significant changes for the sector meaning some aims have been achieved and others have arisen. The 2011-12 Master Plan for Parking reflects this.
The Master Plan supports our more formal approach of influencing government policy and we are well positioned to work closely with government both at Minister and Officer level.

Charter for Hospital Parking (1.25 MiB)
The Charter is designed to help and encourage NHS Trusts to provide parking management systems that are fair for all. The issue of parking management at hospitals is a hot topic, regularly debated, and in response to this the BPA has produced guidelines to help Trusts and car park operators deliver effective and efficient parking for users – many of whom have particular needs.
Bringing together the interests of hospital car park users (staff, visitors and patients), Government, local authorities and commercial organisations, the Charter will be circulated to all NHS Trusts across the UK. Its aim is to strike the right balance between fairness for patients and visitors and hospital staff, as well as the Trust itself.
