Traffic Order Reviews
Buchanan Order Management (BOM) for comprehensive and accurate on-street reviews of Traffic Orders. We provide authorities with a full analysis of non-compliant signs, markings and remedial work required. Our Traffic Order making team can assist with Amendment Orders and Consolidations. We have assisted many authorities throughout the UK in preparing for implementation of Civil Parking Enforcement and the implementation of their ParkMap system.

Traffic Order Updates
Buchanan Order Management (BOM) provides GIS mapping and survey services to help authorities introduce new Traffic Orders. Help can be provided with new scheme requests, on-site surveys, initial design plans, consultation plans, Traffic Order articles and text or map based Traffic Order schedules. Our team can provide update services to help keep new Traffic Order data available on ParkMap either as a one-off service or on an on-going basis.
Traffic Order Systems Implementation
Specialist systems from Buchanan Computing Limited for GIS management of waiting or movement Traffic Orders, such as the UK leading ParkMap application or the new MovingOrdersMap, become most effective and productive for Users once loaded with all existing Traffic Order restrictions. Buchanan Order Management (BOM) specialise in setting up these systems for live operations including loading of all existing current Traffic Order data. This only needs to be done once but it is important that it is done right. We would be happy to discuss our methodology and experience with any authority interested in acquiring these systems.
Traffic Order Map Schedules
Many authorities are benefiting from the presentation of their Traffic Order schedule data in map format. The DfT are recognising the use of maps for Traffic Order consultation and Traffic Order schedules and are currently seeking consultation on these approaches to introducing new Traffic Orders. Buchanan Order Management is happy to assist any authority that wishes to consider moving to map based Traffic Order schedules. We would be happy to meet and discuss how this can be achieved with any authority interested.
Highway Inventory Collection
Buchanan Order Management (BOM) uses its own survey team and equipment to carry out accurate GIS mapping of street markings and signing, mainly for Traffic Orders. We have undertaken many Traffic Order reviews where data accuracy and completeness is essential. We have also collected, created and maintained a GIS map of all speed limits and speed limit signing throughout the Greater London area since 2007. We have undertaken detailed Highway Inventory data collection in locations to assist with corridor reviews and sign de-cluttering. We are therefore happy to apply our experience to any aspect of Highway Inventory data collection or data verification work required.
